ಈ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮ 5+ ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನ ಕಲಿಯುವ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು.

ಈ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೊದಲ 4 ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ - ಶಬ್ದಕೋಶ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು, ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ವರ್ಣಮಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ 5 ಮತ್ತು 6 ನೇ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ - ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ಓದುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ನಂತರ 7 ಮತ್ತು 8 ನೇ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ - ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು/ಬರೆಯಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.

This course is suitable for children 5+ years of age. The classes for these age groups are 90 mins in length. Both the curriculum and books focus on building interest in learning the language.

In the first 4 levels of this program, there is a good emphasis on learning the script. Most emphasis is placed on learning to speak the language.

In level 5 and 6 of this curriculum, students are expected to read and write poems from a page to 2-3 pages in Kannada and the ability to write in sentences.

Prerequisites:

• No prior knowledge of Kannada is required
• Basic knowledge of the English language

Objectives:

1. Numbers 1-6, Colors (6), Relationships - Closest family
2. Body parts and verbs associated with them
3. Plants, Animals - connecting body parts to animals
4. Pronouns - Personal (1st ನಾನು / ನಾವು and 3rd ಅವನು ಅವಳು ಅದು ಅವರು ಅವು ), Demonstrative and Spatial interrogatives (ಅದು, ಅವು, ಇದು, ಇವು, ಅತ್ತ ಇತ್ತ ), Possessive (personal - ನನ್ನ ನಮ್ಮ )
5. Locative preposition (ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಳಗೆ )
6. Common nouns
7. Adjectives -ಅದು ..ದೊಡ್ಡದು, ನೀಲಿಯದು

• Introduce grammar concept: 3rd person present tense for neuter nouns

• Sentences

1. Ability to describe objects like ಎರಡು ಕೆಂಪು ಹೂವುಗಳು
2. Adjective Comparative - ( ಗಿಂತ, ಕ್ಕಿಂತ, ಇಗಿಂತ - ಇಲಿಗಿಂತ ಆನೆ ದೊಡ್ಡದು)
3. Possessive sentence - ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆ

• Verbs

1. Imperative verbs - a simple form of verbs are imperative (order) ಓದು, ತಿನ್ನು----> adding negative imperative to verb (direct - ಬೇಡ, Impersonal - ಬಾರದು )
2. Adverbs - ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ
3. State of Being Verb: ಇದೆ, ಇವೆ, ಇರು

----> combine with adverbs or locative ಇಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಕೆಳಗಿದೆ

----> Noun case Locative (ಸಪ್ತಮಿ ವಿಭಕ್ತಿ) - alli - ಅಲ್ಲಿ (ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಇನಲ್ಲಿ)

• Adding progressive marker to verbs making Present Participle (how?) to an imperative verb: ಓದುತ್ತಾ ತಿನ್ನು

1. Make simple imperative sentences like ನಿಂತು ಓದು
2. Introduction to Tenses - Present Perfect - ಮಲಗಿ ಇದೆ
